What took her so long to notice and file suit? This tech has not only been in the public's HANDS for a couple years but has been displayed to the public EYE for several years. Now she is finally realizing, "Hey, I did that first! When did Sony develop that?".
Sounds like another BS claim to try to milk a settlement out of a large corporation to me.
Dark Sector looks intriguing, but I'm still a little hesitant about it because I haven't heard all that much about it lately. It seemed to get quite a lot of hype for a while, then they didn't really push it too much. It was huge for a few months, but as release approached they seemed to back off. That usually means that the game won't be able to live up to its own hype. Doesn't mean it will be bad, but just not able to bring the high standard that it set for itself to the table. We'll see. I...
As much as people have complained about the numerous delays with this game, hopefully we will see that the final product was worth the wait. These stills look very good and if it remains this sharp in full motion, we are in for a visual treat.
Let me say right off the bat that I don't own a 360, I have the PS3.
I do however follow the whole industry and looked very closely at 360 before finally deciding to go with Sony.
My problem with the next generation of consoles only living for 5 years is that I always wait for the new gen to age a year to let the bugs work their way out (I've learned from experience that this is a smart thing to do) and a possible price drop. I like to buy the system with at least 3 to 5 games a...
They keep kicking crap out the door and people buy without really knowing about their options. I have XP at work and it is great. I have Vista at home and it sucks. I didn't know my options or the problems with Vista when I got my home computer, so maybe it is my fault for not doing some research, but I didn't think MS would go to market with such a bad product.
@ Deadlyhifi - You make a good point, but my question is why? Why do they bring a product to production if it is g...
It's really no big deal and I consider it a sign that video games are growing up. Movies have been doing this for decades. People don't think anything of some one having a Pepsi sitting on the table in a movie, so why not in a game?
Yes, it could be over done (As stated by Joey in 1 - LOL), but I don't think the game creators would allow their IPs to be compromised in that way. These developers (in general) have way too much invested in their games to sell out their creativity....
Really seems like this one could go either way. It is unique in its concept so there's something. Let's just hope it holds up well enough to be good. I will say the final reviews will be between 7-8 out of 10 with most of the points coming from its fresh take on action co-op.
Not bad and expect Army of Two 2(they might want to rethink that title, lol) to truly exceptional.
But there are those people out there that will not get a PS3 just because it is a video game console. They will go to the electronics section of Best Buy a ask for a blu-ray player. There are plenty of, say...over 50s out there who will buy into the market, but would never do so with a PS3. Another point is the appearance of these machines compared to the PS3, more traditional and familiar.
You and I know the PS3 is the way to go, but some kind of look down on the machine as a ...
I won't believe any date until word comes directly from Kojima or Kanami. Too many rumors surrounding this game!
If this game came out at its scheduled release time, everyone would have been up in arms about what could of been, and potential, but it was rushed and is a piece of crap.
They delay the game to make it right, and everyone complains that they should release it already and "I don't even care anymore" comments start flying around.
Either way, people are bashing them. It is one way or the other!
Relax already! Judge the game when it gets here. It se...
I don't like using my credit card on the internet either, but I guess you can use pre-paid Visa gift cards. That is what I have heard, but not confirmed or tried it myself yet.
I wasn't expressing any opinion on which system is better. What I am saying is that if you ask any executive of these companies which system is the best, of course they are going to say it is the one made by their own company!
My biggest problem with Obama is that he never says anything. He just stands there and says "change, change, change". What does that mean. Change what, where and how? Until I actually hear him talk specifics about his policies, I can't vote for him. That's not to say I won't, it is just that at this time, I don't know anything about his political standing and I CAN'T vote for some one who I know nothing about.
You expected to say what? "Our competition actually has a better machines and games than we do." um....NO!
Basically this is an article stating that nothing was officially stated. .............OK, so what's the point?
They actually hired a group of people to study trends and the market, just to say that the Wii is outselling the 360 and PS3. Why didn't they save that money and ask anyone who has an ounce of video game knowledge. Ask me! Pay me the money! I'll tell you, "Wii will win in total sales in this generation on console." There, I said it. Pay me now!
I think sing star is aimed at the American Idol wannabes and real casual gamers out there. Also, it's a way to get non-gamers into the market and enjoying this form of entertainment.
Rock Band looks awesome to me but I won't buy it because I play most of my games alone. The rare opportunities to gather two or three friends together for the game are so rare for me, that it is not worth the money.
It's kind of like Guitar Hero in that you can play alone and have a ...
But I would be very surprised to see them ever agree to such a thing and if they got approval from the publishers to do it, the band wouldn't; thus meaning their songs would have to be covered by some one. That is a tall order. Keenan's vocals can't be replicated!
I'm surprised we don't see George Thorogood or Frampton yet. I mean, Frampton is desperate enough to start doing Geico commercials, so I'm sure he'd jump on a video game! (Sorry, that may have been a little harsh)

Way to draw unnecessary fire on yourself. OUCH!
Fanboys still nitpicking the other system.
They each have their advantages over each other in different categories. Colors, shadowing, motion blur, framerate, ect.
Give me a break! They both looked pretty good. Neither version looked to be top quality on its respective hardware and without the side by side comparison with the captions telling you which is which, nobody would be able to pick which system each one was running on.
Know what would be r...
